I was browsing on photobucket when i saw a picture of a sad apple with the caption "Not a Banana". Then i remember a story my mom told me of a conversation that happened when i was a kid. It started out like this.

Mom:
Joreen, gusto mo ng apple?
Kiddy Joreen:
Uhm, yes mommy, i want. (smiling face)
Mom:
Sure ka gusto mong mansanas?
Kiddy Joreen:
No! i don't want mansanas! (pouty face)
Mom:
HAHA! xD ( tinawagan yung iba)
Mom:
Joreen, you want apple?
Kiddy Joreen:
Yes!
Mom:
Eh, what about mansanas?
Kiddy Joreen:
AYAW! >:c

LAHAT: BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I was like that because i didn't understand tagalog that much when i was a kid.
Ah.. ayun. Tapos. xD

Apparently, God likes listening to Chris Brown as much as I do
funny story really. This happened yesterday.

My family and I were coming home from Sunday Mass, it was about 9 in the evening and we were all going in the car. Everyone was busy with their own conversations, while me and my older sister Roxanne were talking about today's music. Dad had turned on the radio to 89.90. You see every Sunday the radio station showcases some rnb music, during that time they were playing the song "How do I breathe by Ne-Yo." Suddenly, it had reminded me of Chris Brown and Jordin Sparks' new song entitled "No Air". So I had said aloud to my sister that I hope that the radio station plays that song next. We were all quiet in the car, when for no apparent reason the song, "No Air", started playing! My sister and me shouted so loud in the car! My parents, my lola and Jamie was shocked. My family and I just laughed at the funny coincidence.

You see, my sister and i are big fans of Chris Brown, as in we love his songs.
Well, as we continued lip synching the song, my sister said " Hay.. sana Say Goodbye ni Chris brown ang sunod na tugtugin." and I jokingly replied, " Sige, pagdadasalan ko. haha"
and then BOOM! right then and there, after "No Air" The intro of " Say Goodbye" started playing.

Me and my sister screeched with glee from hearing it, and i had started feeling Goosebumps all over my body. Then we were quiet all the way home.

Funny isn't it? I don't know if it's pure coincidence or God likes listening to Chris Brown as much as we do. :)

Kisses in a Box
This isn't mine by the way. It's an email i got a long time ago. Just wanted to share. :) Prepare to be touched.

The story goes that some time ago a man punished his 5-year-old daughter for wasting a roll of expensive gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and he became even more upset when the child pasted the gold paper so as to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree. Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift box to her father the next morning and said, "This is for you, Daddy." The father was embarrassed by his earlier overreaction, but his anger flared again when he found the box was empty. He spoke to her in a harsh manner," Don't you know, young lady, when you give someone a present there's supposed to be something inside the package?" The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and said, "Oh, Daddy, it's not empty. I blew kisses into it until it was full." The father was crushed. He fell on his knees and put his arms around his little girl, and he begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger. An accident took the life of the child only a short time later and it is told that the father kept that gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. And whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box and take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there. In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given a golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God. There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

I won't forget. :)
JONAH "BEEFF" FERNANDEZ

My loooong lost unrelated sister. :D

To start things off, we're inseperable. :) Even 16 hours of airplane flight can't keep us from staying great bestfriends/sisters. We met during our 6th grade. Funny story really, the first time we met, we despised each other. xD SERIOUSLY, we did. But everything changed when we were paired as "seatmatebuddies" during our 6th grade fieldtrip. After that, no one has been able to seperate us. Boys, liars, backstabbers and even rumors can't seperate us.

Aside from Camille, Jonah was also one of the persons that has changed my life. Sabi nga ng iba " Para kayong mga baliw". Haha. tawa lang kami. Because it's completely true. We are crazy and weird, that's why Jonah and i get along too much.

I call her BEEFF or BEEFFED. It stands for Best Electrifying and Exciting Friends Forever.
I know, it sounds weird right? Haha. We started that nickname during our freshman year. Everyone in school called each other bestfriend or friendship. We wanted some originality. SO those who like our nickname. Back Off! Jonah and I own it, take it and you'll be talking with our lawyers. :)) HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. To those who don't and laugh at it. We know your just jealous. :D

I love this girl sooo much&& i terribly miss her.

Our freshman days was the last time I saw her. Sadly, she and her family had to go to America because of her father's job. Anyways, we still talk over ym. But somehow I wish that there can be a time where we'd have our senseless talks, dramatic chats, those priceless laughs and MANGO CREAM PIE again. But i know that someday we'll cross paths again. :D or i'll just have to stow-away on an airplane straight to washington. xDLOL.

ps: BEEFF, if you ever read this. Thanks for everything. :) I terribly miss you and I hope you and your family take care. I'll be waiting. ;)

Camille.Camille.Camille.
Camille Alexis Luang

simple name. fantastic personality behind it.

Camille is a great friend of mine. We became friends during our 6th grade. But during our 1st year is when we became soul sisters. (haha. corny) I guess it's because we have this "special sense". When I'm sad, she's sad, when she's happy, i'm happy. :D kulit noh?

We're close, and i love this girl. I like it how she trusts me so much with her secrets, and how i can trust her with mine. I even remember that we spent most of our time on the stairs or at the front of our classrooms.

Camille is not your everyday of kind of girl. She's shy and timid. But secretly, everyone envies her mysterious beauty. ( so true, so true.) She's got a talent for photography and she always looks at the positive side of things. I guess that's why her photographs are great, because she has a great perspective. :D

Anyone is lucky to have her as a friend. TRUST ME. :D i'm glad i'm lucky.

As she says:

"Unlike the majority of teenage girls, I'm contented with my looks but I'm just one of the clumsiest people you will ever meet. =p"

BTW: Congrats to Camille, she's a nominee in candymag's teen blog award. :D weee~

a BLOOMING experience. :)
As most of my friends know. I'm currently in a band called Parallel Parking.
I play the bass guitar. :D Our band consists of my two sisters, Roxanne and Jamie, and my two cousins, Mikel and Stephen.

I guess our first "gig" was somewhere in SM molino where we played with a band called Northborder. After that, people started requesting if we could play in their bars and stuff.
At first i wasn't really excited about the places where we were playing. In fact it sometimes bored me. Then a few months later, my grandmother from my mom's side got an unexpected call.

Her cousin had called up because he had found us on youtube. He wanted us to play in a place called Eastwood city. The best part of his offer was not the place, but who we were playing for. He had texted my grandmother:

"Pwede ba sila tumugtog kasama ang Bloomfields?"

LOL. at first i laughed at the idea, i thought it was some kind of joke. Until my grandmother told me that we were actually related to Pepe and JayJay, the two main singers of the band. I was completely dumbstrucked, and so were the rest of my relatives. We were scheduled to play for them on April 16th.(which was, BTW, Camille's birthday.) The day before our "gig" i had felt mixed emotions. Happy, Excited, Confused and really nervous. I mean, who wouldn't? Meeting a band who you are actually related to? Playing somewhere you've never played before?

The night before the gig, I couldn't sleep actually. Ask Camille, she knows. We were all excited. When i woke up in the morning we practiced, and we left the house at 4:00 pm. We drove to Eastwood city, and arrived there 7:00 in the evening. We were thirty minutes early. We walked around the " Alabang-like" place, and after minutes of searching we finally found the spot were we were suppose to play. It was in the middle, encircled by restaurants and it was an open area. It was simply beautiful.

We ate, then minutes later The Bloomfields have arrived. ( To those who don't know them, they are a band who sings old songs like the songs of The Beatles and The Beach Boys. ANOTHER SHAMELESS PLUG: http://thebloomfieldsband.com) They sang a first set then it was our turn. I looked at the crowd and I even got more nervous, because the crowd that we had was not like the others, these were socialites who have gourmet foods for breakfast and don't walk around in old slippers. No, the worst part is they might even compare us with the Bloomfields. But I was wrong, after our first song they were clapping, then it rained. The people started leaving and getting out of their seats, BUT they did not leave from the place, instead they all ran for cover from the rain. It just meant one thing: They liked us. Which was a relief. After the show the Bloomfields manager talked to us and offered us to play in Bluewave. I hope we do, and after that the Band congratulated us and even took pictures with us. One of the band members, whom i idolized so much was Rocky, He' the drummer that sings and has the most amazing american accent. :D i took a picture with with him, and the bass guitarist, Louie, was making fun of us. xD

:D it really was a BLOOMING experience.

NOW FOR THE PICS!
Me with rocky. (checkout the Louie in the background. haha.)
